St. Francis Brooklyn could not have asked for a better debut from its 6’6” freshman forward.  The Brooklyn native came of the bench to contribute a game-high 17 points on 6-13 shooting from the floor in the program’s landmark 66-62 overtime win at Miami on Friday evening in Coral Gables.  The South Shore product also pulled down eight rebounds and added a block and a steal in 28 minutes of action.  Martin displayed a full compliment of post moves and driving layups, and even tossed in a three-pointer against the defending ACC champions. He scored 12 of his points in the second half, and with the Terriers trailing 54-53 with 40 seconds left, Martin calmly sank two pressure free-throws after he was fouled in the post.
